Also know as Theater Jazz, is the ability to isolate various parts of the body through floor and barre exercises. Students will explore traditional, Broadway and contemporary styles in a fun, energetic atmosphere. Classes begin with a warm-up that stresses technique, flexibility, coordination and strength, followed by progressions across the floor, center work and combinations. All done to a wide variety of music from the classics to the present day hits. As with any form of dance and gymnastics, Ballet class would greatly enhance your Jazz technique.
